Handshake recovery is the last resort. Check these easier options first:
Check your router's admin panel
EasiestGo to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 in your browser. Log in with admin credentials (often on the router label). WiFi password is under Wireless Settings.
Check a connected Windows PC
EasySettings → Network & Internet → WiFi → Properties → Show password. Or via CMD: netsh wlan show profile name="SSID" key=clear
Check a connected Mac
EasyKeychain Access → search your network name → double-click → Show password. Requires admin authentication.
Check your iPhone (iOS 16+)
iOS 16+Settings → WiFi → tap (i) next to your network → tap Password → authenticate with Face ID.
