Refund Policy

1. How WiFi pricing works

WiFi Password Recovery (wifipassword.org) operates on a pay-upfront model because GPU compute time is a real cost:

• You upload a WPA/WPA2 handshake capture (.cap, .pcap, .pcapng, .hccapx, .hc22000).
• The one-time fee is charged in cryptocurrency or PayPal — we do not accept card payments for WiFi.
• Our GPU cluster runs dictionary + rule-based + pattern attacks against mode 22000 (WPA-PBKDF2-PMKID+EAPOL).
• If the password is found we deliver it immediately — no additional payment.
• If the password is NOT found within the GPU budget we offer a refund per section 2 below.

2. When a refund is possible

Refunds are issued in these cases:

• Password not found — full refund minus the non-refundable network fee (blockchain fee or PayPal fee). Contact us within 14 days after the job completes with not_found status.
• Handshake file is corrupted or has no EAPOL messages — we detect this during pre-processing and refund 100% immediately (nothing was spent on GPU).
• Delivered password does not work — if the password we extracted does not unlock your network (e.g. MIC collision bug), contact us within 14 days. Full 100% refund.

3. When a refund is NOT possible

• You changed your mind after receiving the working password — the digital service is fully delivered.
• You no longer need the network / changed the password on the router — the compute work was performed regardless.
• The handshake was captured without authorization and the legitimate owner contacted us later — we will cooperate with the owner but recovery work was already performed. No refund to the uploader.
• Chargebacks / PayPal disputes filed without first contacting us — please reach out first so we can resolve legitimate issues directly.

4. Cryptocurrency refunds

Crypto refunds are sent back to the same wallet address used for the original payment, in the same coin (BTC, ETH, or USDT). Because of blockchain network fees we deduct the on-chain miner fee from the refund amount. For very small amounts (< $10) the network fee may be higher than the refund — in that case we credit your account instead for a future recovery.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a pending recovery at any time before GPU work begins — full 100% refund. Once the job is dispatched to the GPU cluster cancellation still issues a refund but proportional to remaining compute time (we refund the unused fraction of the GPU budget).
